About Kristin

Welcome! We’re so glad that you’re here.

As a therapist, and human, Kristin believes that within each of us lies the inherent capacity to:

address wounds from our past,

cultivate peace in the present,

and face challenges in our future.

She works from a depth orientation and aims to provide warmth and acceptance. Through this, clients can approach changes in their lives with conscious awareness. Areas of expertise include:

Maternal Mental Health

She’s spent the bulk of her career, spanning the past 12 years, focused on Maternal Mental Health and Reproductive Psychology. She is certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PSI) and has trained with Karen Kleiman, author of “This Isn’t What I Expected.” She is also a Pre- and Perinatal Educator following the completion of a 2 year curriculum on Pre- and Perinatal Psychology (Myrna Martin).

Trauma Interventions

She has completed training in EMDR through EMDRIA (EMDR International Association). She has also extensively studied the treatment of adult children of emotionally immature parents and recovery from narcissistic abuse.

Couple Counseling

Kristin integrates Transformative Couples Therapy (TCT), which combines attachment frameworks, somatic awareness, and “parts” work to help a couple thrive. She is actively training under Dr. David Mars, the developer of the TCT model.

Overall…

Kristin’s therapeutic approach is experiential, trauma informed, and psychodynamic, with a heavy emphasis on attachment theory. She uses a combination of insight-driven and body-focused modalities, such as Internal Family Systems, EMDR, and somatic awareness. Through this, client(s) experience an integrative, whole-person approach.

About Jennifer

The first of Thich Nhat Hahn's Four Mantras of Love is, "Darling, I am here for you."

This is the core of Jennifer’s therapeutic work: cultivating, together, your ability to be with yourself with kindness and curiosity as you navigate the difficulties and the beauty of the human experience.

Individual Counseling

Jennifer has experience helping individuals navigate difficult life transitions, relational conflict, loneliness, depression, anxiety, neurodivergence, and lingering impacts of traumatic experiences. Her practice is rooted in the Advanced Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) framework.

Couple Counseling

With couples, Jennifer practices Transformative Couples Therapy (TCT). This model helps couple members cultivate loving, respectful patterns of communicating and connecting around what they appreciate in their relationship. Partners also explore their longings for themselves and their partnership as they build their next chapter. She believes that earning secure attachment within your couple plants the seeds for personal healing and transformation. From here, she believes that the beneficial impacts on your self, family, and community are profound.

Overall…

She brings knowledge of neurobiology and belief in post-traumatic growth to each therapeutic relationship, trusting in the power of co-regulation and resourcing to create a fertile ground for your transformation. In each session, she incorporates mindfulness, somatic awareness and gratitude to support your own self-regulation, boundaries, and balance.
