About Kristin
Welcome! I’m so glad that you’re here.
As a therapist, I operate from the understanding that within each of us lies the inherent capacity to:
address wounds from our past,
cultivate peace in the present,
and face challenges in our future.
I’m passionate about helping people during times of transition, and it’s important to me to honor the individual needs of clients as they are. I aim to provide warmth and acceptance, such that clients are free to make changes when ready.
I’ve spent the bulk of my career, spanning the past decade, focused on Maternal Mental Health and Reproductive Psychology. In recent years, I have expanded my skillset to include interventions specifically designed to treat trauma (EMDR). I have also done extensive research into the treatment of adult children of emotionally immature parents.
I am now including work with couples, and integrate the Transformative Couples Therapy model, which combines attachment frameworks, somatic awareness, and “parts” work to help a couple thrive.
Overall, my therapeutic approach is experiential, trauma informed, and psychodynamic, with a heavy emphasis on attachment theory. I use a combination of insight-driven and body-focused modalities, such as Internal Family Systems, EMDR, and somatic awareness. Through this, clients experience an integrative, whole-person approach.
