Payment

Insurance:
We accept Anthem and Sentara (formerly Optima).

If you have an alternate insurance provider, but would still like reimbursement for sessions, we can create documentation for you to submit for payment.

Note that the payments received by the insurance provider as reimbursement may not cover the full service fee.

Self-Pay:
Individual Counseling with Kristin, 60 minutes: $160

Couples Counseling with Kristin: $180

Individual Counseling with Jennifer: $90

Couples counseling with Jennifer: $125

What is the Process like?

Submit an inquiry, which you’ll find under the “contact” button at the top right. We will typically follow up within 24 hours to discuss what you’re looking for. We offer 15 minute consultations over the phone to answer any initial questions and to assess how your needs match our areas of expertise. This consultation call is free of charge. If you decide that we would be a good therapeutic fit, we’ll schedule an intake session and send the onboarding documentation.

Please know that we value the therapeutic relationship as the premise from which to do meaningful work. If it doesn’t feel like a good fit between us, that’s ok! We encourage you to find your person. In a similar vein, we are committed to staying within our areas of professional competence and will refer you to an alternate provider if I believe that your needs would be better addressed elsewhere.
