Consultation and Supervision
-
With over a decade of experience in Perinatal Mental Health in a variety of settings, I am excited to offer consultation to clinicians who are working with this population. I have trained with premier voices in the field, including Karen Kleiman and Postpartum Support International. I am also trained in an attachment-based perinatal treatment method designed by Myrna Martin. I have facilitated support groups and created curriculums for postpartum treatment/care.
I began my career with mothers in inner city Rochester, NY. Here, I developed support groups and researched success factors as these women transitioned into motherhood. In 2016 I worked in community mental health, partnering with organizations designed to resource under-privileged women and families. In 2020, I opened my private practice in Charlottesville, VA with the focus on Perinatal Mental Health and have grown the practice ever since.
I welcome the opportunity to consult with other professionals who are actively working with perinatal clients and seeking help addressing the nuance of this specialty.
